Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive exams and diagnose dental conditions
• Assess treatment planning options and discuss with patients
• Carry out clinical treatments
• Assist in the recruitment, training and management of staff
• Stay abreast of new developments in dentistry through continuing education and training
• Maintain affiliation with professional groups, dental associations and dental societies

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a DDS or DMD from an accredited school.

As a dental assistant, you will help support the clinical needs of the practice’s patients and doctors. You will receive the support and training needed to help you maximize your career potential and make a difference in our practice and in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting during a variety of procedures
• Taking dental X-rays
• Setting up and breaking down the operatory post-treatment
• Executing patient handoffs
• Monitoring patient flow within the practice
• Managing infection control, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene
• Performing intraoral scans
• Supporting patient charting for doctors
• Performing various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborating with the team to ensure patient satisfaction

Requirements:

• A dental assistant certification and/or X-ray certification in states where it is required
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Ready to be part of a patient-centric team
• Eager to learn and grow
